About Jennifer

Jennifer was born and raised in South County. She and her husband bought their first home together in Lindbergh 20 years ago and are proud to be your neighbors in the community. They have two children, an eighth grader at Sperreng Middle School and a sophomore at LHS. Jennifer is the daughter of a retired military member turned educator and a stay-at-home mom. After earning a BA in Deaf Education and an MA in Early Intervention from Fontbonne University, she became an early childhood special education teacher. Currently, Jennifer works as an Early Intervention Therapist with the Missouri First Steps program. She has also been a contributing writer to various Parents as Teachers curricula.

Jennifer's experience as a parent of children in the district, combined with her knowledge of early childhood and special education, gives her unique insights into how our district functions, from administration to teachers to students. She understands how the decisions of district leadership affect families now and in the future. Jennifer sees firsthand how curriculum and instruction decisions, such as reading and writing programs, gifted programming, advanced classes, fine and practical arts programs, and special education affect students, as her children have experienced and benefited from these opportunities.
